Sounds like the same problem I was it having. It was my coolant temp sensor. It was hard as hell to start when it was cold. Once it fired up, it idled a little rough untill operating temp was reached. Its a cheap fix if thats it, but the wires on mine were just lose so I f*cked with them a little and it fired right up. Also is your check engine light on... cause I know when the wires on mine would get lose it would come on... when I messed with it, the light would the light would shut off..
