Since it's auto, you might as well put in a race tranny if this is going to be a track car that you plan on having run lower than 12s. I know little about autos, so I will let someone else refer you to the tranny you need.
As far as turbos, if you are turning this into a track car, again, you're going to want a much larger than stock turbo. What are your goals for the car? If you are putting stock internals back into the engine in the rebuild process, you might want to consider the amount of horsepower you want to push out of the factory pistons/rods. 400 hp is generally fairly safe on the stock motor, as people have run more than 500 before (who knows how long though

).
A popular street turbo these days is the Evo III 16g--capable of 400 hp on a well-tuned car with fairly quick spool for its flow rate. Do some research on it as a viable option...
