A gutted 2G gsx could hit roll cage territory on a 16g, I wouldnt rule it out yet

I dont know anything about the SRS setup, but I am not aware of any connection on the ECU for it. I know there are some dangers to workig with that system, be sure to take all necessary precautions. Now that I think about it, I might have a qualified shop do that portion of it.
You can get a roll cage kit for 1Gs from a couple vendors, never seen one for a 2g though. In reality, this is something that is best left to the professionals. Wouldnt it be a bitch to go through all the trouble of building a cage, and it doesnt pass tech? Even if you read the NHRA rule book, there are more than enough ways to screw it up. I'm personally going to use a shop that is run by a guy that is also the chassis inspector for my local track

No chance of any having trouble with it passing tech.
