I am in kinda one of those "my life sucks" ruts too. Every year I get a decent raise at my job but it seems that so does the balance on all my bills...so I am always just eeking out at the end of each month. I like my job for the most part and most of the people I work with, which is what keeps me there....but I do get burned out on filing, running around, being everyone else's lil gopher. Somedays I feel like God has damned me to a life of always being stuck in one spot while everyone else around me moves on to bigger and better things. I have a friend who's younger and makes over 3 times my salary...and everytime I turn around something else good happens for him. Promotion here, raise there, bonus for this or that..blah blah. But he is a very good person, works hard, and deserves all those goodies
I continue to do my computer studies at home, but get so burnt out on that and then find out there's ONE MORE program I have to learn and it just feels like neverending shit. Then I get stressed and crabby and it effects my family and even the poor dog...animals can pick up on when things suck for you too
I think we all go thru it at some point in life...some of us longer than others. But when it does happen to us it feels like a God-forsaken eternity.
