Driving with the S1 is funny. As soon as your rolling you pretty much need to be in 2nd.. I cruize at 50km/h wich I think is around 30mph in 5th gear all the time. Highway driving is crazy.. 5,000rpm and up pretty much all the time.
Your car height problem can only be solved with taller springs. Just deal with it, being lower is better.
