Maturity brings with it a level of self control (generally speaking). Most teenagers aint gonna be driving a car tuned to that level. The guys who have theirs tuned to much higher levels appreciate what they have and know when and where to stomp on it. If they beat their daily driver (no matter HOW highly tuned) it's gonna break sooner than later.

As for having a crew following you around....most people I know with highly tuned cars ARE their crew and can deal with their issues as they come up. If ALL of one's tuning came from a shop on your pocketbook, you generally aint deserving of the car to begin with. It deserves better, and should be in someone else's stable.
