To my knowledge, recalls never expire. Normally they are "safety recalls", which means you could have a REALLY bad day if the part/parts being recalled broke. As for the lower ball joints, I had them replaced in February on my Spyder. Just call the dealer and give them your VIN and they will be able to tell you if the recall has been done on your car.
