Remote starter for 2002 Malibu?????
I have a 2002 Malibu LS that I bought for my wife. I just purchased a Crimestopper Coolstart 900IV for it. My brother and I were planning on installing this ourselves. I have installed Viper Car Alarms before, so, I figured this can't be all that hard. But, I saw on a website that the GM vehicles from 97 and up require a OE security bypass module. Is this true? I just don't want to tear into this thing and find out that it doesn't work or that I messed something up. If it does require something like this, can someone direct me on where to get it?
