duct tape is our friend
i had a friend break a rear ujoint on his old 69 gmc pickup
used a roll of duct tape to tape to hold things together and nursed it home
he took a picture because he said no one would believe it otherwise
he said it wouldnt have worked if the truck wasnt a standard tho
also even if you did manage to adjust the timing at the distributor the computer would just compensate and put it right back where its supposed to be
