i think i can answer your question joeM ttechnomotive(TMO) made a chip to replace the eprom on a stock ecu. they got rid of fuel cut, raised the rpm limiter, added a stutterbox launch, comp for bigger injectors etc. tmo is out of business but keydiver makes the same kind of thing with even more features, their web site is http://www.dsmchips.com/
