If it were me, Ide buy a 350TPI auto.. and drive it around til I accumulated all the parts and $$ to do a T56 swap..
5.7s are better for re-sale, easier to get power out of, and ive even gotten better fuel economy out of my 5.7 than the 305's..



Sure GM made 50 of them in 1986 but they were probably destroyed because no one has ever seen an 86 camaro with a 350 tpi motor and if someone had one it would be big news.
