LoL 92K on a cherokee.....is it broken in yet? You have a 200k+ mile vehicle if you treat it right. What will go first are the power windows regulators and door locks etc.
The only way it doesn't have a fuel filter is if some one took it out/off or some slacker at the maufacturing plant was taking one too many tokes, was drunk or playing poker on the assembly line.
Personally, I believe in changing the tranny fluid if it looks dirty or it reaches the recommended change interval. I wouldn't replace the fuel pump unless it was faulty.
From what I've read on auto lubricants as you stress the fluids (extreme heat or cold) you deplete the additives. One of the advantages of synthetic lubricants is reportedly that they inherantly require less additives to do the same job that so called natural mixtures require.
If you have a metal tranny filter I would think it could be air pressure cleaned. They're generally not that expensive either way.
