If you were a businessman, would you sink much time, effort, and money into a short-term employee, or an employee who WANTS to be and employee for the LONG haul?

Draftees bring very few skills...crimony, they are only 18-19 years old. They haven't had time to develop any skills.

The military today is NOTHING like the draftee military. I was in the military during the draft. I was there when the draft ended. Today's volunteer force is MUCH more professional...MUCH more competant.
