About a week ago, heavy rain caused flooding in my neighborhood, up to 3 feet in areas. Being the owner of a '93 4.0 6-cylinder Sarah, i couldnt resist driving through them. The next day is when problems came up. The Check Engine light will not turn off, When it idles it dies most of the time, chokes for gas for a sec then catches up when I give it gas. I know the Cat. Converter is bad, and has been for awhile. But I figure that it shouldn't be the problem since it all happened overnight. Can anyone help me?
