I have purchased a 1982 BMW 528e I have been replacing quite a few parts due to lack of maintenance from the previous owner. I replaced the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and clutch arm. After the repairs this was the first time I drove the car, there seems to be a klonking noise in the drive train when you let the clutch out after a shift, most prevalent in 3rd and 4th gears. Can anyone give me advise as to what the possible problems could be?
