I may be a bit biased but go with a Cougar. I think of those 4 cars it has the best styling and is the lightest of the 4. You could order it in 1968 with a 427 option. The cyclone/comet line were bigger cars and might not require as much modification as a cougar for a 427. But then theres the whole weight issue. I dont know much about the Montego but werent those pretty big cars as well? I have a couple Cougars for sale in Michigan if thats the way you want to go. Good Luck. Steve
