You're probably right. Maybe not overpriced, but certainly "top dollar". He can probably find something similar for less. But Craftsmen stuff is known for high quality. They have a 2-gal one for less.
One question I have: When you turn the compressor on, how long do you have to wait before there is enough pressure to start spraying? Do you have to wait for the tank to reach pressure, or can you start working immediately?
