I know exactly what they are and how to use them. I don't know what the hell kind of scope you've seen or used, but I use ones that are smaller than a tech 2, easy to hook up and have found bad sensors because multimeters couldn't pick them up. And they pick up both AC and DC. So why not worry about the problem instead of making dumb ass comments. If what you say doesn't happen to go along with what someone else says just reply and forget the other post. hahaha man that was a bit over the top, but 86tatpi is quite right. a digital oscillascope is a fairly small, hand held tool much like a scan tool. and they are absolutely the best for finding intermittant problems with sensors, injectors, and such.
