There are various "Pxx" cars... from P70-74.
Your car is a true "P71", shich is a Police Interceptor model. There are many options, and standard equipment not available on other "Pxx" models.
I would take, oh, a page to list every little item that's "upgraded" for the P71 over a civilian model.
The biggies are: Engine oil cooler, higher shift points, dual exhaust, revised engine programming, heavier frame, selected lower gearing, speed rated tires, full body electrical bonding, RF shielding, police option wiring, "ticket light", spot light(s), recovery aids, HD springs and shocks. There are literally dozens of other more obscure items as well.
P70 = Panther, 6" streatch (my'02 up)
P71 = Panther, PI, '92^
P72 = Panther, Livery (police/taxi/fleet spec), '92^
P73 = Panther, base Crown Victoria, '92^
P74 = Panther, Crown Victoria, LX. '92^
