The first time they said it was a loose connection. The second time they said they did not know why it was on, but after disconnecting the battery and all power and then reconnecting , the light went out. They called the Chevrolet technical assistance team and ask them what was up. The team ask them to ask me if I ever jump started the car, or jumped started anybody else. I responded no, because I did'nt. Anyway, what if I did?. I don't think they have the answer, and I'm sure I'll be back again. The car has 345 miles on it.
Two questions, has anyone had this problem on the Malibu or any other car?
Second do I have any options if they can't fix it? Thanks everyone .

Well it's happened again. 3,200 miles on the odometer and the airbag warning light is back on. I've made another appointment to have it serviced, ( 3rd time ). I'm going to insist that they replace the module this time. Has anyone else had this problem? 2004 Malibu LT. Thanks Bob.
