Thumbs up

*Shows up with his AMD hat, pocket protector and anti-Intel sign*
Hey hey now, check out the benchmarks and system stability data, AMD is still puttin the hurt on Intel, just like back in the day when the 500mhz Athlons were outperforming the 800mhz Pent IIIs. The fact of the matter is that AMD is just better at eliminating the bottlenecks in a CPU, and when mated with a good MB with high front side bus and a scuzzy hard disk, all you need is an 800mhz to 1ghz AMD system and you will be outperforming (In most areas) an Intel system with a 50% higher clock speed. Oh yea, and need I say that you payed much much MUCH less for your AMD chip?
In all honesty I am getting very tired of the clock speed wars going on right now, clock speed means very little to the overall speed of a system. And common, unless you are creating special FX for a damn movie, do you really need 1.5ghz and 1gb of DDR Ram? No... 'cause if you were doing that you would be on a mac with G4 and Velocity Engine... Oh yea, props to apple for making a screaming fast iMac with the G4 and givin Intel and AMD the finger its "ONLY" 800mhz, but it's still all you need and more

Wow, sorry, that was the tech freak commin out of me... I want a GTR computer
