Re: CD Player removal

im not sure about the Refurbishing part, but the removal is pretty easy (well, somewhat )

First, open the center consol. You have to remove the plastic moldings around the Ebrake and shifter. Theres two screws in that center consol piece.

If your trannys AT, push in the 'shift lock release' with a pen or screwdriver (once you remove the molding, its a screwdriver sized hole) and then you can move the shifter lower, making CD removal easier

In my 98, theres no ashtray, just a little bin sort of thing, anyway, that pulls out, and theres a screw or two that you need to remove

Open to cup holder, theres a screw to the right and left, remove thouse and pull out the cupholder. You should now be able to remove the trim around the CD player.

The rest should be fairly obvious, remove the CD player, ect ect

Try some junkyards, or go aftermarket. Theyre a lot better anyway!
