It's not much larger than a 1797cc B18C block (less than 100cc larger)

Plus..even if you used the B18C5 head you wouldn't have the 167hp to the wheels that it has.

Because unless you swap out the pistons you retain the stock 9.something:1 compression ratio compared to the USDM Integra R (B18C5) 10.6:1. Plus..you'd have to buy a block girdle to keep the B18B1 block stable at higher-than-normal RPM.

Plus..the B18B1 block lacks oil squirters. This is somewhat dangerous seeing as how the pistons and rods lack the cooling properties of oil squirters.

I'm a big fan of CRVTEC..but not of the LS/VTEC.

Go for the Prelude.
I mean..if you have the chance get a Lude. Or a GSR or Type-R Integra...

Like...I like Tegs but a Prelude or an LS? Definetly the Lude.

Actually boi i am confident that w/ a ls block, ITR head milled .30 on the bottom would be putting 167 to the wheels, but that's w/ the ITR I/M, t-body, cams, valvetrain, ECU, headers and all the exhaust stuff that you would get w/ a full top end ITR swap. But I'd go for the Prelude.

Edit: Good mentioning of the block girdle, z10 engineering one will set you back a pretty penny, plus oil squirters wouln't be essential if you replace the stock oil pump w/ that of an ITR.
