I've just imported a 2000 slt 3500 crew cab dually long bed 7.4 c/k classic, firstly i'm not sure what the c/k part means so could someone explain
I should say that these trucks are mega rare over here, thus there is next to no information on them.
Second question is how it should handle, the truck is nice at speeds upto about 60mph then it gets a bit lumpy and vibrates a bit, seems to vary with road surface, I had 4 new tyres put on the back today but it made no difference. Should it stay smooth all the way to 100mph?
When I turn the key I get a light saying 'check guages' but everything seems ok, although it does say 'service engine soon', is that what its telling me to check?
The oil pressure only goes upto the 3rd point on the guage at 70mph and the engine temp never gets above the first point (120 degrees), is this normal for these trucks?
Aside from this i'm very impressed, amazing power and acceleration and i can look down on the jap imports, i'm glad i went for usa - bigger is better
