I am looking for some information on installing a distributor on a 1987 4.0L Cherokee, I just bought a remanufactured engine and now have it sitting into place and the only thing left to insatll is the distributor. The vibaration damper is sitting on ZERO. Can anyone give me step by step instuction on how to do this. I will be installing a ned distributor..... Anyone with information can e-mail me at
