acually - they make a harness conversion kit for about 350 that i have seen - which you can get to change the round plugs that you have on the motor to the square plugs on the acura motor - or i just swapped a 1.6 vtec into a 91 rex an the old motor wasnt vtec so all the plugs were different - or you can un pin every wire an splice into the old harness if you are that patient then ya just hook the vtec to a switch so you can turn the vtec on when ya hit 5200 rpm where there computer would normally open up vtec on the car with the correct computer. so ya i just spliced the wires because my friend was broke an i hooked the vtec to a switch on his shifter that he flips when he gets to like 5000 rpm an vtec comes on then he flips off when he is not in vtec rpm... it basically makes the vtec manual till ya can afford or swap computers an the wire harness- mind you the card runs very strong an he was like damnit matt i love you -lol - he said it doesnt even feel like the same car - it has so much torque now - an it does i drove it the power an torque increase was amazing on it - the crx really whips now ...
