That's pretty cool. I've always liked the Cobras more than any other mustang....muuuuuuuuuuch more than any other. Seems like a much more well rounded car than any other. They're all pretty drag strip specific, but at least the cobra has an indy rear...that helps alot and it's actually not TOO bad in the handling department...especially for a mustang. I find it kinda ironic how that guy went BACK to a live axle. So much for the well rounded-ness. BUT...it's still a mustang...and it's still ~$35G, if I remember correctly...and I would NOT pay that much for a mustang. Especially if I'm just gunna dump more money into it anyway...and that 9 sec guy has a decent chunk in that car. I still find it hard to believe that he's "pegging a dyno" on a stock engine.
Also...in that thread, it says something about the 2JZ and how the mustang will make better use of the same power as the 2JZ...this isn't true. The Cobra is quite heavy (I know the Supra's no feather...but still) and un-aerodynamic. The GT is pretty light.
