Not it shouldn't drop your pressure at all. Once the system has filled it up initially it is only "extra" oil anyways. It is a very good idea to run one, and the GTR has one factory but it is not the same type of cooling system you are talking about, but a pipe that runs around the backside of the engine. It does work though as you can watch the factory oil temp guage go up and down as you are driving.
