Nasty experience Stephen.

Was there a warning in the BMC tutorial about letting the propellant gas out of the paint? If not, you just found out the hard way, as I did long ago

In my experience it takes overnight for the gasses to disperse, sitting with the lid just resting on the jar so the gas is not trapped inside. Leaving a matchstick sitting in it, and stirring (very gently) occasionally helps too. Even then you still need to be careful opening the lid on the jar, very slowly listening for any gas escaping, letting it settle then opening a tad more, etc. Until you can remove the lid entirely.
The TS-8 will be okay if you give it longer to gas out. If you can put a matchstick in the paint and stir it vigorously without any bubbling then you know it is right to use in your airbrush.
