I could; but traffic on any bridges here (Buffalo/Niagara Falls/Lewiston) is at least a two hour wait anytime; holidays more.

I once (well, more than once) tried to do what you did, transfer my warranty, but after waiting *45* minutes on hold, I got annoyed at Nissan Customer Service.
