That is exactly whay I have done, the first time. But I realized the texture is messy. Actually, depending on the way you fold or squish teh aluminum foil you have more control over it then just making it in to a ball. The photo I have showed that the aluminum insulation had large vertical creases and smaller horizantal ones. So I folded the aluminum foil to give sharp vertical lines and pressed on it to give smaller irregular horizantal lines when unfolded. Pretty bizzare actually
