First....let me make a few minor suggestions. When you post a request a little bit more useful information would help you out alot. For instance, start with "your car", then your "generation", and anything that you have done recently to your vehicle. So just aimlessly guessing and not knowing what you have, I can tell you that usually the first thing to go and make a check engine light come on and your car is running fine is your o2 sensor. Some cars have two, some only one.
