Supposedly, some TrailBlazers need the adapter plug, while other units didn't. I know it sounds weird, but I bought the adaptor plug & found out I didn't need it after all.

The plug is located under the steering wheel & under the plastic housing which has to be removed to gain accesss to the so called plug.

From there, I really don't know exactly where....I had my local shop do my installation & they had to call up GM to find out that my unit didn't require the adaptor plug.

As far as the unit goes.......funny, but I still never had the oportunity to use it even after a year of having it. I have been wanting to....it's just that I also have at my disposal a 6 Liter Suburban & an 8.1 Liter Avalanche.....so I always have gone for those vehicles first......

As far as I have read though, the brake unit is fantastic
