the monte carlo is front wheel drive too and the camaros that have 3.8's were never supercharged. the only way i see this possible is the bottom end from a 3.8 camaro which is rear wheel drive you would need the exhaust manifolds or headers for a rear wheel drive car, and transmission. i would highly doubt a transaxle from a FWD car would work. then use the top end or a 1997 to present supercharged pontiac GTP which would include the intake and supercharger, as for the heads i dont know if you'd need the ones from the camaro or the pontiac. theoretically it should all work but sounds like to much mixing and matching id go with a some thing more like a vortec V6 out of a chevy pickup that would make more sense to me. sounds like a lot of work to me and will cost a whole lot more than what you'd get out of it! id just try wedge a 350 in there i know it can be done. i know of a V10 viper engine in a jeep wrangler some time ago in 4wheeler magazing. but here again thats a whole lot of custom work. id recomend going with a vortec V6 or a 350, both of those applications should be more realistic and cost wise it wouldnt be nearly as bad as mixing and matching 3.8 parts from a camaro and a pontiac GTP. remember the monte carlo was rear wheel drive in the late 80's but has been front wheel drive the last 2 generations.
