It is interesting for me to see the various opinions and justifications you have presented. I am by nature, believe it or not, shy around women but not men. I find it very easy to talk a women.
I have found love on the interent via the media of a chat service over 5 years ago. We saw each other virtually every day on line and not only conversed via type but also ran up some huge phone bills until we both were able to get voice chats going. Snail mail and emails poured back and forth for over a year until we met in person. All the mean time casual converstations turned into love. How can it turn into love you may think? Well there was a true connection as I was able to not only read the type but also feel the emtions and even knew without asking her state of mind, whether or not she was in pain or happy. Many times even before we came on line together. There was a definate connection of souls if you will.
She flew to meet me in person 4 years ago this coming Jan 24th. She stayed a month and then flew back. That month was like heaven. Complete bliss without a care in the world. I in turn flew to New Zealand on May 24th, 1998 and fell for the country and decided to live here. Even though our physical relationship ended back in June of last year I remained here.
I beleive love on the interent and interent relations are real. They can and do happen. More often than not they end before it is taken off the world of electrons and wires. Some make it as far as mine did for 3 years others die quicker. There have been a few that have went further and are still going.
One thing for sure that an interent relation can give you is the ability to see whether or not you are even compatable with converstaions. If you can not converse then obvisiously there is no reason to persue it beyond this relm. It takes both parties to be fully open and fully honest because if you are not then when it comes time to take that next step and go beyond here your world will come crashing down.
