One of the hardset things to get right now are second hand seats for a bimmer. You either have to buy the whole darn car or go to a pull-a-part junkyard and pray for luck. However, 7 series' front seats (up to the 95 models) have been known to fit snugly in 5 series' (electronics and all).
just try and see...
for dealership prices are just going crazy these days.
