I'd go with the timing belt. If the car turns over and there is fuel but no spark then there is a possibility that the timing belt is broken. You can remove the cover to check it. If there is no belt then the solution is simple, replace the belt. If the belt is intact then check the crank position sensor, it could have gone bad. Also, the coil pack is a possibility but even a bad one will throw some spark.
