There are indeed several products that cause problems with alloy wheels. Just talked to a "Greased Lightening" rep and he told me the safeest products are made by Eagle 1. Anyway, you need to take the rim to a pro and have the finish redone-it is not a big job mainly if the wheel only needs clearcoated.
