Read an interesting comparison of the 2 brands, the Warn has sorta pot metal as the lock plate backing, not brass all the way through, and the main body is made of aluminum. But they turn 330 degrees to lock, which is easier to engage.

The MM ones use a steel main body and the twist body is made of the same metal all the way through, think it's steel or aluminum. but twists 120 degrees to lock, and not as smooth a turn.

I will use the locktite, thanks for the tip. Gonna probably install them when I get home tonight... or maybe I will wash the truck, actually, the second idea is sounding like a plan. I need to get rid of all that dirrt.
