The technician there said he flushed and refilled the system 3 times and couldn't get it to blow cold air. He also said that the air conditioner "motor" was not kicking in when it should be. He said you should be able to hear it kick in when you turn on the A/C system.
I'm not really sure what to do at this point. I'm going to take it into another mechanic, but I don't want to spend $1,000 to replace the air system. Is there any information that an Integra pro can arm me with before I go to the mechanic so that I will know if he's trying to con me.
I have read that sometimes the drive belt can come lose and cause the AC to stop working. However, I don't know if "stop working" means no air at all or just no cold air but still some air flow? Any help will be apprecaited.
thanks...
