I wish I could own either, and may some day if I am still in the will, but my father has an Apollo White '70 GSX Automatic. It has been completely retooled, looks 100% stock, but drive train recently rebuilt, and all new paint, etc. I rode in this when it was stock and that was enough, it was amazing. I have driven or ridden in probably 2/3 of that era's American Muscle, (being the kid of a collector) and nothing touches the GSX though I have not been in a SuperBird, or Cobra. He recently bought #300 and something of the '87 GNX line, and this is one of two that were actually bought back by ASC/McLaren for shows and in which they added a sunroof. (From what I hear these are the only two of original McLaren build that did) I have not ridden in this one yet, but did sit and oggle it a couple of weeks ago. My father said, it was close but the GSX was better low end torque and upper end since the GNX was choked by the governor. I guess I would take both, but I am sure my sister will get one.......
