I've never heard of Sound Storm, and both these deals have a Sound Storm amp.
I noticed the box with the Audiobahn subs is designed to point them down. Is that going to distort the sound quality? I'd rather have very good loud, clear sound over the ability to make my neighbors think there's an earthquake.
And am I going to need a crossover? I'm not sure what they do, but I've been told I need one or else I'll get lots of distortion.
Also, do I need power capacitators(sp?). I'm planning on having two amps, one for my subs and one for my speakers. I don't want to be driving down the street blasting my subs and then all of a sudden my car dies or something. At least that's what I think the power capacitators do, I'm not sure.
Help is very appreciated and needed.
Oh yea, looking at all this stuff, I'm guessing I might go $100-$200 over my original $500 budget.
