On the topic of upgrading to euro headlights...i have noticed that with my euro headlight 'upgrade,' the only upgrade that actually occurred was 1) i can change my bulbs w/o changing the entire headlamp, and 2) they're pretty white instead of that dull orangish color the stock lamps are.

But i've noticed that there is INSUFFICIENT lighting from the headlamps. Heck my parents' toyotas (96 camry, 98 sienna) headlights provide much better and wider illumination on the road than the crappy headlights on the 3000GT. Seriously, driving at night sorta sux on the highways b/c even the high beams don't provide sufficient light. Its adequate, but not near up to par.

I've considered doing a true HID conversion, just b/c i'd feel much safer...but those kits are at least 400 bucks.

How do the 94+ 3000GT/Stealths headlights illuminate the road at night? Does it seem just adequate? could it be a lot better when compared to other vehicles of different makes?

any thoughts?
