by the way my car is a 95 240 i dont know if the shifter knobs are different on older 240s ... i was actually taking apart my console and thought maybe i can work my way around not getting the knob off, but there i no other way but to get it off and i dont know, if i have to use more force on it or is ther ea trick to it... thanks for replies.
