I'm still unsure of what you're talking about, mine don't have any black plastic piece at the top of them (I'm looking at my installation and parts manual for my SS coilovers). Wait, I think I know (though if you could take a picture, that would help GREATLY) but the piece you're talking about is part of your CAR since it's not listing with the parts that come with the kit. So if Tein can't help you, you might need to talk to the local dealership, findout what the part is and how bad it being broken is for things. Yeah, this piece is what keeps the spring of your suspension in place, for whatever spring/shock you use. It's NOT part of your Tein kit though.
