me too
I have 2000 G AM, and have experienced this problem for two years now. It is driving me crazy. Always drivers front side.
I have replaced rotors and pads twice, once with GM parts, and once with Raybestos.
Removing caliper and replacing it seems to quiet creaking noise a bit, but eventually returns to it's usual volume. Pins seem to be well lubricated.
I have mounted wheels according to GM torque and star pattern.
No evidence of friction on outside surfaces of caliper, except clip
over top of pads. I have tried a tiny coating of grease on clip, no difference.
This is the first post I have seen anywhere on this problem.
