thanks gamsaleh. took about 3-4 hrs for the outline, and about another 4 for the rendering so far. As for highlights, Prismacolors are pretty much impossible to erase. the only way to really erase is to take a kneaded eraser, press it really hard against the paper and lift off the color. for highlights, i don't color the area, or sometimes you can take a sharp white prisma pencil which will lighten an area.
I'm posting the ref pic for you guys to look at. Since I'm not drawing trees in the background, I wanted to leave out most of the tree reflections on the hood.
