Well, we're assuming it's something to do with the distributor. Because we've hard wired everything else (fuel pump, injectors, and so on...) before we ever checked the distributor out to see if there was any spark...
Well, if I'd been thinking instead of getting pissed off at the problem itself, I would have realized from the begining that the distributor is still apart of the circuit that is the injection system..... so if there's a part in the distributor that has failed, part of the circuit is not getting completed.. in this case, the fuel pump and injectors are going dead.
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that after we get the problem with the distributor fixed, we wont need to have the fuel pump or injectors hard wired anymore.
