I just learned that the antenna has an amplifier. So one would wire 12 volts to this device in order to get the antenna to work properly. The dual type "In-glass" setup is called a diversity system. So for anyone replacing ahead unit on a 4th gen. runner; wire the blue power antenna wire, from your deck, to the antenna amp. Or any other 12v source to the antenna amp.
