Well I just had to replace my Brake Booster...it was a pain in the butt but, like you I was changing pads way too quickly. Then all my brakes were not wanting to stop and having to push all the way to the ground. I had to take it to the chevy dealership and I had it diagnosed...Brake boosters are expensive if the dealership puts it on but if you can find a qualified mechanic who wont screw you over you can buy the part for pretty cheap and have it put on. This is just a suggestion...Hope you get you problem fixed.
